In Search Of: Veterans in the Milwaukee, Waukesha, and Madison areas who have a furry battle buddy

I am an OIF/OEF veteran and a photographer.  I’m looking for veterans who have an animal that has helped them out after a tour of duty.  I want to hear your story, as much as you are willing to share, and hear about how that animal has impacted your life.  This is a personal project so all photo shoots are complimentary and at the end you would receive a copy of the final portrait.  This project covers furry battle buddies that have helped with anything and everything, from physical recovery to finding emotional balance.

My desire is to take a portrait that portrays life before you found your battle buddy, and then a portrait with you and your animal that shows how they have impacted your life. If you would be interested in hearing more about this project or sharing your story please send me an email and we can setup a time to chat or meet. You can share as much or as little of your story as you would like.  If you would be interested in just the portrait of you with your animal, I would still love to hear from you.
